Some tanned deer tails. No two are alike! 

Deer always amaze me with their amount of coat variations. Some deer are a simple shade of rufous all over, while others have darkened faces and tail tips. A few deer I've found were a deep mocha or chocola
This knife has a story. 

The blade was smithed by my friend and local blacksmith, Gabriel Paavola. The metal was melted in a forge in a Kalamazoo backyard. The knife is made so that it can be sharpened simply by scraping it across a leather belt.
